The Lackawanna Heritage Valley Authority will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for the Scranton Riverwalk on Friday, April 24, at 10:30 a.m. on West Olive Street, across from the Ice Box Sports Complex, in Scranton.
The Scranton Riverwalk will extend one mile from West Olive Street along the Lackawanna River to North Seventh Avenue, Scranton. A spur trail will connect the Riverwalk to Scranton High School.
