The Lackawanna Heritage Valley Authority broke ground on its new Scranton Riverwalk this morning. The Scranton Riverwalk is a section of LHVA’s Lackawanna River Heritage Trail project, a 40-mile multi-use recreational trail that follows the Lackawanna River from Forest City to Pittston. The first-ever statewide Olympic-style torch run for the Transplant Games began this morning in downtown Scranton.
