Second Annual Chef Schiavone Bocce & BBQ
The second annual Chef Schiavone Bocce Tournament and BBQ will be held this Sunday, August 22, at Abington Area Community Park. Tournament registration begins at 9 a.m.; the barbecue begins at noon. Entry fee per team is $100 which includes barbecue lunch. Each team is comprised of one captain and three players. And if you’d like to just sit back, relax and enjoy some great food, barbecue lunch is only $10.

Benefit for Jayme Grimaldi

A benefit for Clarks Summit resident Jayme Grimaldi will be held at State Street Grill, Clarks Summit, from 6-9 p.m. Grimaldi is a wife and mother of two children, ages 7 and 5. Six years ago, she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. After a yearlong battle, undergoing intensive treatment, the disease went into remission.
