The Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania USA Cycling Criterium State Championships will be held on Saturday, September 4, in downtown Wilkes-Barre as part of The Wilkes-Barre Health & Fitness Festival.
Bicycle races will be held throughout the day from 11:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. beginning on River Street in Wilkes-Barre. The races will culminate in the Criterium beginning at 5 pm.

The second annual Chef Schiavone Bocce Tournament and BBQ will be held this Sunday, August 22, at Abington Area Community Park.
Tournament registration begins at 9 a.m.; the barbecue begins at noon.
Entry fee per team is $100 which includes barbecue lunch. Each team is comprised of one captain and three players.
