After an unexpected cancellation in June, the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church has rescheduled its annual Greek Festival for September 21-25 at the church, 505 North Washington Avenue, Scranton.

Delicious handmade Greek specialties like gyros, galaktobouriko, mousaka and dolmades are available daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. during the festival.

Organizers promise that the rescheduled festival will be “bigger and better.”

You can take out or eat in, with a tent and picnic tables set up next to the church. You can also call ahead to have your order ready for pick up at 342-0566. Proceeds from the event benefit the church.
