UPDATE: Scranton Greek Festival set for June 8-12
Downtown — By nmilner on May 24, 2010 at 2:18 pmThe Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 505 North Washington Avenue, Scranton, will host its Greek Festival, a Scranton tradition for nearly four decades, from June 8-12.
From 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day, the Greek Festival will offer delicious handmade Greek specialties like gyros, galaktobouriko, mousaka and dolmades.
You can take out or eat in, with a tent and picnic tables set up next to the church. You can also call ahead to have your order ready for pick up at 342-0566. Proceeds from the event benefit the church.
UPDATE: The festival has been postponed until September. Please check back. When the event is rescheduled, you will find the dates here.
