Get Involved: South Scranton Public Input Meeting

Neighborhood residents are invited to a public input meeting regarding South Scranton revitalization on Wednesday, October 29, from 6-8 p.m. at United Neighborhood Center’s South Side Senior Community Center located at 425 Alder Street, Scranton.

United Neighborhood Centers of NEPAA neighborhood committee has been assembled to prepare an application to participate in Pennsylvania’s Elm Street Program, a community revitalization initiative administered by the PA Department of Community and Economic Development. The committee is looking for suggestions from residents to bring about positive changes in the South Side Scranton Neighborhood.

National consultants Wallace Roberts & Todd, LLC will be on hand to help kick off the program. This initiative is being coordinated by United Neighborhood Community Development Corporation, a subsidiary of United Neighborhood Centers of Northeastern Pennsylvania, in partnership with Scranton Tomorrow.
