Gyros, galaktobouriko, mousaka and dolmades – the annual Greek Festival has returned to Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 505 North Washington Avenue, Scranton.

For more than 35 years, the Greek Festival has given Scranton residents an opportunity to sample delicious handmade Greek specialties.

You can take out or eat in, with a tent and picnic tables set up next to the church. You can also call ahead to have your order ready for pick up at 342-0566 or fax (342-9722).

The festival runs through Saturday, June 7, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day. Proceeds from the event benefit the church.
