Stann wins WEC title
Featured — By nmilner on March 26, 2008 at 10:32 pmScranton Prep grad Brian Stann claimed the World Extreme Cagefighting light heavyweight championship in convincing fashion Wednesday night.
Stann scored a technical knockout win over Doug Marshall in the light heavyweight title bout at just 1:35 in the first round. The win improved Stann’s career record to 5-0-0.
Congratulations to the Scranton native on winning the WEC belt. At just 27, he has a promising future ahead of him.
