Original Theatre in Scranton
The Arts — By Robert Watts on January 26, 2008 at 8:15 amI do my damnedest to catch as much local theatre as I can and I am excited to see what Scranton’s own Connor McGuigan has created for next Tuesday Night at The Northeast Theatre. “Presidents, Ahoy” will be performed by Connor as a solo act.
If you have not been lucky enough to experience this theatre or actor, Tuesday is a must. The Theatre is tucked into the second floor of the grand Hotel Jermyn and the setting could not be more intimate.
I have been lucky enough to see Connor perform everything from sock puppets on channel 61 to “The Poor of Scranton” and he is truly talented. Tickets are only $10 and will be avilable at the door. I pray he skips over Jimmy Carter and doubles up on Ronaldus Maximus Reagan, just like America did.
